Welcome to Dugo Selo (Croatia). The town has a population of about 19.000 and is situated 23 km east of Zagreb. The history and culture of this region is intertwined with the name of St. Martin and with the Order of the Templar Knights. The town is reachable by rail or bus. It is is linking to YOUMOBIL: new service will be implemented – connecting Dugo Selo to Zagreb with night trains for young people. 
There are local festivities in the summer:
St. Martins summer – thematic, wine event in July that involves Dugo Selo in the European cultural-historic path 'St.Martin'
Cycling recreational event in September
Food festival – presenting old traditional food from the wider area (Martins Goose is the speciality) with cultural-artisticprogramme, in September
Streetball tournament in September﻿
When you visit Dugo Selo as part of the YOUMOBIL- project, please follow the mentioned steps:
﻿
1)Travel to Dugo Selo using your Interrail ticket
2) Make yourself notes about your travelling to and from Dugo Selo, especially about the infrastructure (trains, train stations,…)
3) Check out Dugo Selo using the tipps listed below.
4) Make some nice pictures of Dugo Selo, including a selfie in the old town.
